We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Alternative Provision Mentor to join our team at a thriving school in Boston. As a permanent member of staff, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome challenges and succeed academically and personally.

What will you be doing?

  • As Alternative Provision Mentor, you will develop and nurture 1:1 mentoring relationships with pupils receiving support.
  • Identify and provide targeted assistance to “at risk” pupils, offering guidance and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to develop and implement individualized action plans for each pupil, focusing on their specific needs and goals.

What we expect from you:

  • Level 2 (or equivalent) qualification in Mathematics and English.
  • Proven track record of working with young people, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
  • Ability to assess and address the needs of young people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed to going above and beyond to support students.
