We are currently seeking an experienced Primary Teacher, with or without Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), to join a fantastic SEN school located in South Norfolk, near Attleborough. This is an immediate full-time, long-term position available until the end of this term, with potential for extension. The successful candidate will be passionate, patient, and have a proven track record of working effectively within a SEN environment.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of SEN students.
- Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their academic and personal development.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and promotes progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to ensure the holistic development of each student.
- Implement and adapt strategies and interventions to meet the diverse needs of students with SEN.
What we expect from you:
- Previous experience working as a Primary Teacher in a SEN setting.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrated passion for working with SEN students and a commitment to their success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
