SEN Teacher

Join a fantastic SEN School in Alconbury, where we are dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to our students. We are seeking a resilient, flexible, and patient Teacher to join us in making a positive impact on the lives of our pupils with a range of needs.

What will you be doing?

• Plan, deliver, and assess lessons to meet the diverse needs of pupils with SEN, including considering medical and care requirements.
• Work in partnership with parents and carers, keeping them informed of students’ progress and involving them in the learning process.
• Collaborate effectively with other agencies and professionals to support the holistic development of our students.
• Integrate Literacy, Numeracy, and ICT into lesson design, ensuring a functional approach to learning.
• Contribute to safeguarding efforts by developing risk assessments, health and safety planning, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Provide training and support to Teaching Assistants working in the classroom, fostering a collaborative team environment.

What we expect from you:

• Degree in Education or related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) status.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, resilience, and a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning.
• Experience teaching pupils with SEN, with a focus on meeting individual needs.
